Circulation Policy

The following photo IDs are accepted for checking out material:

Holds
If an item is not available from the Bromfield Library a hold can be placed via the web in OSU, OhioLink, or Search Ohio library catalogs by following the "request this item" link. Items requested will take 3-7 business days to arrive at our location and be held on our hold shelf for ten days hence.

Recalls
An item may be recalled from you by another patron at any time, which may change the item's due date. A courtesy e-mail notice will be sent notifying you of any recall(s) on your item(s) with a due date in 10 days from the date the hold was placed on the item, or the original due date, whichever is less. Please respond to these notices promptly. Overdue fines accrue at the rate of $10.00/day per recalled item. Items that have been recalled may not be renewed

Recalled items: $10 per day to maximum of $100
2 Hour Closed Reserves: $2 first hour, $5 per hour thereafter to a maximum of $102
1 Day Closed Reserves: $2 first day, $5 per day thereafter to a maximum of $102
3 Day Closed Reserves: $2 first day, $5 per day thereafter to a maximum of $102
1 Week Closed Reserves: $5 first day, $10 per day thereafter to a maximum of $105
OhioLINK and Search Ohio Items: $0.50 per day, $125 billed per item overdue 30+ days ($50 if returned)
