A photo ID is required to check out material:

OSU or NCSC student/faculty ID with current validation

OSU Library Courtesy Card

Ohio Driver's License

Valid student/faculty ID from any OhioLink Institution

Enrolled OSU/NCSC students have:

Borrowing privileges from the OSU circulating collection for three weeks with unlimited renewal unless recalled by another patron
Borrowing privileges from OhioLINK member libraries for three weeks with one renewal
Access to all available OSU information databases and materials
Access to article photocopies from other OSU libraries upon request

OSU/NCSC Faculty and Staff have:

Borrowing privileges from the OSU circulating collection for ten weeks with unlimited renewal unless recalled by another patron
Borrowing privileges from OhioLINK member colleges for three weeks with one renewal
Access to all available OSU information databases and materials
Access to article photocopies from other OSU libraries and OhioLINK member libraries upon request

OSU Local Courtesy Card holders have:

Borrowing privileges from the Bromfield Library circulating collection for three weeks (a maximum of two items at a time)

Adults with a valid Ohio Driver's License may apply for OSU Courtesy Card at the circulation desk.

Memebership to the OSU Friends of the Library includes OSU/OhioLINK borrowing privileges upon application. Please ask for details at the Bromfield Circulation Desk.

Reference Books and Periodicals do not circulate.

Holds

If an item is not available from the Bromfield Library a hold can be placed via the web in OSCAR or OhioLink library catalogs by following the "request this item" link. Items requested will take 3-7 business days to arrive at our location and be held on our hold shelf for ten days hence.

Recalls

An item may be recalled from you by another patron at any time,which may change the item's due date. A courtesy e-mail notice will be sent notifying you of any recall(s) on your item(s) with a due date in 10 days from the date the hold was placed on the item, or the original due date, whichever is less. Please respond to these notices promptly. Overdue fines accrue at the rate of $10.00/day per recalled item. Items that have been recalled may not be renewed

Lost Items

Lost book charges:
Lost books	$140 ($90 replacement. $40 processing charge. $10 non-refundable billing fee)
Lost journal volumes	$170 ($120 replacement. $40 processing charge. $10 non-refundable billing fee)

Overdue fines:
Recalled items	$10 per day to maximum of $100
2 HR Reserves	$2 first hour, $5 per hour thereafter to a maximum of $102
1 WK Reserves	$5 first day, $10 per day thereafter to a maximum of $105
